Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Zenyra website and the fragrance quiz, Taste Map and recommendations we provide (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Saif Imran, trading as Zenyra (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at saif@zenyraapp.com. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to use it. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. What Zenyra is — and is not

Zenyra helps you discover fragrances that suit how you want to feel, by mapping your answers to a set of scent characteristics and suggesting fragrances that fit. Our recommendations are suggestions to help you explore, based on your quiz answers. Fragrance is personal and subjective: we do not promise that any recommendation will suit you, and a recommendation is not professional, medical or dermatological advice.

We do not sell fragrances. Any purchase you make is with a third-party retailer, on that retailer's own terms (see section 7).

4. Your account

You can use much of the Service without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your access secure and for activity that takes place through it. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that are used in breach of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • use it for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that harms Zenyra or others;
  • copy, scrape, harvest or extract our catalogue, data or content at scale, whether by automated means or otherwise, except as expressly permitted;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems;
  • introduce malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service;
  • misrepresent your identity or impersonate anyone.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and its content — including the Taste Map system, the fragrance catalogue and axis scoring, text, design, and the Zenyra name and branding — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish or commercially exploit our content without our permission.

If you send us feedback, suggestions or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and improve the Service.

7. Third-party retailers and affiliate links

The Service contains links to third-party retailers where you can buy fragrances. Some of these are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. This never changes the recommendations we show you.

Any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer, governed by their terms and privacy policy. We are not the seller, and we are not responsible for third-party websites, their products, prices, availability, or the accuracy of information they provide.

8. Fragrance and safety

Fragrances contain ingredients that can cause allergic reactions or skin sensitivity in some people. Zenyra provides discovery suggestions only and does not assess the safety of any product for you. Before buying or wearing a fragrance, check the ingredient and allergen information provided by the retailer or manufacturer, and stop use if you experience a reaction. If you have concerns about sensitivities or allergies, seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.

9. Availability of the Service

We provide the Service free of charge and offer it “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time.

10. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any of your legal rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, and because the Service is provided free of charge for personal use, we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not a foreseeable result of our breach, nor for any business losses. Your decisions about which fragrances to buy or wear remain your own.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
